1. Scope and customers
These terms govern purchases of travel eSIM profiles and mobile-data packages through e-sim.gr. An eSIM is delivered digitally; no physical SIM or parcel is shipped. You must have legal capacity to buy or act through an authorised adult. Business purchases are subject to these terms, but statutory consumer protections apply only where the buyer qualifies as a consumer.
2. Check the plan and your device
Before paying, check that your device supports the specific eSIM, is network-unlocked and can use the networks and frequencies at your destination. Read the package’s countries, data allowance, validity, activation trigger, supported services and any fair-use or speed restrictions. A data-only plan does not include a telephone number, voice calls or SMS unless expressly stated. Keep another way to make emergency calls.
3. Orders, prices and the contract
Review the selected plan, quantity, currency, contact email and total before confirming an order with an obligation to pay. The checkout displays applicable taxes and mandatory charges. An order acknowledgement or pending payment is not proof of successful payment or delivery. We accept an order when payment is confirmed and we confirm acceptance or supply the purchased eSIM. If we cannot supply it, we will inform you and refund any amount collected for the unavailable supply.
4. Payments and security
Only payment methods shown for the particular checkout are available. Their availability may depend on country, currency and device. When Viva.com is selected, payment is processed through its secure checkout; we receive transaction references and payment status, rather than full card numbers or CVV through that checkout. Never send card credentials, passwords or authenticator codes to support. Fraud or payment checks can delay an order; contact us if you need a human review.
5. Digital delivery and activation
After confirmed payment, delivery is normally automated through email and/or the order or account area, subject to supplier processing and security checks. No fixed delivery time is guaranteed unless stated before purchase. If your details have not arrived, check spam and contact support with your order reference; do not pay twice. Installation, activation and the start of validity depend on the selected plan. Some plans start on installation, others on first connection to a supported network. Check this before installing or travelling.
6. Using the eSIM
Follow the installation instructions, keep the QR/LPA details confidential and do not delete an installed profile until support advises you: reinstallation or transfer may be restricted. Coverage, speed and latency vary with location, network load, roaming partners and device. Do not use the service unlawfully or contrary to the package’s restrictions. Exhausted or expired data does not renew automatically unless an expressly agreed recurring arrangement applies.
7. Cancellation and statutory remedies
Read our Returns, Cancellations and Withdrawal policy before paying. Digital delivery, installation or a label saying “non-refundable” does not automatically remove statutory rights. Any lawful loss of withdrawal rights requires the relevant legal conditions to be met. If the eSIM is not supplied or does not conform to the contract, applicable rights to correction, a price reduction or termination/refund remain available.
8. Accounts, support and complaints
Provide an accurate email address and protect account credentials. Contact support promptly about installation or service problems, with your order reference and a description of the issue. Do not post QR or activation secrets publicly. We may request proportionate information needed to investigate, without removing statutory remedies. Disputes can be raised with the competent consumer authority or an eligible alternative-dispute-resolution body, including the Greek Consumer Ombudsman where it has jurisdiction.
9. Responsibility and applicable law
We are responsible for our contractual obligations and mandatory consumer remedies. We do not exclude liability where the law prohibits exclusion, including for fraud or deliberate misconduct. Network disruption or events outside reasonable control do not cancel any mandatory right to a remedy. Greek law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protection or competent courts available under the law of their habitual residence.
10. Languages and changes
These terms are available in Greek, English, Spanish and French. The version presented for your purchase forms part of that contract; later changes apply to future orders. No translation-precedence clause limits mandatory consumer rights. Our Privacy and Cookie Policy explains personal-data processing and storage choices.
